Synopsis: A girl wanted to prove her growth challenges her mentor and upperclassmen

Reasons For Submitting: I want help the growth of not only Onsolgo but the Manaa movement as a whole and show my abilities as a pro manaa artist. This short story is to represent my ability as a visual and literary pro by telling a complete story in a short pan of pages.
How I found out about Onsolgo: I reached out to Muzi/Koffee for reviews on my One-Shots because I came to respect his stern approach to the medium of indie manga and comics. His attitude in my opinion is what's needed to help show those in this community that they need to put their best foot forward. Lastly it meant alot that after years of trying to submit and put my work out their he's the only one on in the online world that actually responded with honest feedback.

Synopsis: Leonard is living in the past, not noticing what is going on around him.
-
He's been sacrificing a lot for this waitress he's been fancying, giving up money, and possessions. After he gets the impression that she may just be using him for his money he tries to ask her about it.
Leonard's friends, however, are just as oblivious as him in some aspects. They don't notice him leaving, or that things could go downhill fast. By the time they catch up, he is already dead. In a shootout, the younger friend Kidd is injured. Marcus, who made it through unscathed, feels a deep regret. That perhaps it may have been his fault. Luckily at that time there was an EMS nearby. Marcus visits them in Hospital. He sees Leonard is dead, and Kidd is on oxygen. In this moment, he thinks he may have just lost two of his friends needlessly.
I initially came across Onol-go when it was still Onsorugo! I'm a fan of Koffee Comics, so I think I was just clicking through his links when I found yall out. Ever since I heard of the concept of ManAa, I really believed in it. Not just for that, but because of the work ethic of everyone involved. It's very inspiring. So that's why I had to get the #0 issue, and why I had to enter this as well. I wanted to be here for the beginning of something great.

Heart Of Gold
by Josh “ARDIS” Gatson
Synopsis: Hidden deep in a mystic forest, an unlikely bond emerges between twin warriors and a scientific marvel.
-
Shu and Aiya Ahuja, twins who’ve obtained spiritual powers, come across Enrod, a boy who can strangely change his body into gold, after unknowingly saving him from poachers who found their way into their home in the Spirit Forest, Bankouha. Aiya, taking a liking to Enrod, asks Shu if they could bring him back with them, which he reluctantly agrees. As they spend time together, both on the way there and during dinner at the Ahuja Dojo, Enrod begins to like them as well, much more than his previous "home." The day after, however, Enrod is gone, and Shu sets out to find him. When he does, he encounters [WEAPON "I"], who calls Enrod his "brother" and has a similar ability to him, only with ice instead of gold. "I" reveals that Enrod, like him, is a WEAPON: a "Modified" Human and property of the laboratory that created him. When he says he's come to take him back, Shu stands up for Enrod (who clearly doesn't want to go back), and fighting ensues. In the end, the quick bond Enrod found in Shu and Aiya trounced the life of solitude and abuse that came with "I", both figuratively and literally as Shu defeats [WEAPON "I"] and takes Enrod home, ready for them to live their life together.
Reasons For Submitting: I’ve been wanting to make stories for most of my life. Even when I was young, I was drawing up little comic strips to show to my friends. The stories I have now are honestly just me trying to take the comics that stuck with me the longest, and make them into masterpieces. Whenever I grow and improve with my art style and writing skills, I put that new energy straight into these stories, because I want to show that younger version of me that I could make something great. That, and I want other kids like me, who had little doodles and ideas in their sketchbooks, to know that they could do it too. “HEART OFGOLD” and my other sequential work, “THE KYBALION,” are those stories I hold near and dear to my heart. I hope that it shows in the art, and the story itself.
