Born and raised on the southwest side of Chicago and member of the Nation of Islam(NOI) , Halim has been drawing since he was 3 years old. From a young age he would become acquainted with Manga/Anime through Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball) and the rest is history. Now he intertwines Manga and Anime sensibilities with NOI theology to make his distinct ManaA.
